Richard Jiron

Richard Jiron possesses extensive experience in procurement and contracting, currently serving as the Chief of the Procurement Operations Division at the USDA since January 2014. In this role, Richard has also held positions such as Head of Contracting Activity Designee and Acting Head of Contracting Activity. Prior to the USDA, Richard served in the United States Air Force for two decades, specializing in construction contracting and procurement as a Chief of Construction Contracting and Contracting Officer. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Management from Park University and an Associate's degree in Purchasing and Procurement from the Community College of the Air Force.
