Ted Fang is an accomplished leader in agriculture and community health initiatives with extensive experience spanning various industries. Currently serving as a member of the Federal Advisory Committee for Urban Agriculture and Innovative Production at USDA and as President of the San Francisco Farm Bureau, Fang advocates for urban agriculture and food production in San Francisco. As Executive Director of the Florence Fang Community Farm, the only USDA-registered farm in the city, Fang engages the community in urban farming. Previously co-founding San Francisco Hep B Free - Bay Area and leading significant healthcare campaigns, Fang has also held various editorial and executive roles in the newspaper industry, including Editor and Publisher positions at the San Francisco Examiner and the Independent Newspaper Group. Fang's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as studies in Chinese Language at Peking University.
