Kurt McGowan

Kurt McGowan currently serves as the Supervisor of Data Collections & Product Operations at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Kurt accumulated extensive experience in compliance and regulatory oversight across several prominent financial institutions, including Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and Barclays Investment Bank, where responsibilities spanned from compliance to audit and regulatory exam oversight. Additional roles included positions at Deutsche Bank, Noble Group, Direct Energy, Citigroup, CRT Capital Group, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, focusing on compliance advisory and implementation of regulatory frameworks such as Dodd-Frank. Kurt holds a BA in Economics from The Ohio State University, earned between 2000 and 2004.
