Chris Blasy

Chris Blasy serves as the Chief Medical Officer for the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System, overseeing care for veterans in Coastal South Carolina and Coastal Georgia since January 2019. Previously held positions include Chief of Primary Care at the same facility, and Family Physician with the US Army Medical Department, where responsibilities included providing primary care to soldiers and their families. Earlier roles included Chief Medical Officer at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center and the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, as well as Medical Director at Tuttle Army Health Clinic. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Mechanics from the United States Air Force Academy and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University. Additionally, Chris has entrepreneurial experience as the owner of a comprehensive family medicine practice and served as Medical Director for cosmetic laser services.
