Derek Juang

Derek Juang is a highly experienced medical professional with a strong focus on digital health and informatics. Currently serving as the Digital Health Clinical Lead at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Derek leads the development of innovative platforms that integrate patient-generated health data into clinical workflows to enhance care quality. As the Chief of Hospital Medicine at the Veterans Affairs San Diego Healthcare System, Derek actively participates in quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, Derek holds a Clinical Professor position at the University of California San Diego and has co-founded multiple technology ventures, including Docphin, which was acquired by HealthTap.
