Dottie Nichols

Dottie Nichols is an accomplished management and project management consultant with extensive experience in various sectors. Currently serving as President of Portfolio Consulting, LLC since December 2007, Dottie specializes in project portfolio and strategy management, including PMO setup and management. As a Senior Consultant and Process Engineer for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since February 2015, Dottie provides subject matter expertise in project/program/portfolio management and PMO support functions. Additional roles include Chair of the Guadalupe Home Advisory Board at Catholic Charities of San Antonio and previous positions that include governance at Whataburger, strategic planning for Navy Medicine Information Systems Support Activity, and leadership in project management standards at the Project Management Institute. Dottie has a Master's degree in Systems Management from St. Mary's University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from St. Leo University.
