Eric Heneka

Eric Heneka, Psy.D., serves as the Mental Health Program Director and Staff Psychologist at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since July 2018. With extensive experience in military psychology, Eric held previous roles including Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the U.S. Army Reserve from June 2018 to June 2021 and Clinical Psychologist at the Clark Embedded Behavioral Health Clinic from September 2013 to May 2018, where responsibilities included providing behavioral health management and evidence-based treatment to military personnel. Education includes a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University Tampa, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Leo University. Additionally, early career roles included clinical internships and practicum experiences that honed psychological assessment and therapy skills.
