Haipeng (Mark) Zhang DO, MMSc, FAMIA serves as the Chief Innovation Officer and Chief Officer of the Office of Healthcare Innovation and Learning at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Zhang is also the President and Founder of the American Medical Extended Reality Association (AMXRA) and has held positions as a Palliative Care Consultant and Fellow at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Additionally, Zhang is a Co-Founder of Cake (joincake.com) and has worked as a Physician at Care Dimensions. Educationally, Zhang earned a Master of Medical Science in Biomedical Informatics from Harvard Medical School and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
