Heather Jennings Pt

Heather Jennings PT, DPT, currently serves as the Director of the American Physical Therapy Association, supporting 100,000 members while promoting the profession of physical therapy. With extensive experience as a Board-Certified Neurologic Specialist at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Heather provides specialized care to veterans with spinal cord injuries and neurologic conditions. Additionally, Heather contributes to the Northeastern Clinical Partner for the National Consortium of Clinical Educators and has held various leadership roles, including President of the American Physical Therapy Association of Massachusetts and Adjunct Faculty at Simmons College. An accomplished fitness instructor and Master Trainer for Piloxing, Heather has also worked as a Physical Therapist at Rhode Island Hospital, and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health at Northeastern University.
