Jason Gonzalez

Jason Gonzalez is an experienced professional in the field of veteran support and behavioral healthcare, currently serving as a Peer Specialist for the Substance Abuse Residential Treatment Program at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since February 2023. Previously, Jason worked as a Veteran Care Coordinator at Riverside Recovery of Tampa, providing peer support to veterans with co-occurring disorders. Jason has a robust background in case management and outreach, having served as a Veteran Case Manager for the Office of the Public Defender and engaged in various roles within the recovery community. In addition to familial operational and training experience from the United States Navy, Jason holds a degree in Behavioral Healthcare from the University of South Florida.
