Jo-Ann E. Haney-Tilton

Jo-Ann E. Haney-Tilton, MD, MHL, MBA, FACS, currently serves as Chief of Ophthalmology and Staff Ophthalmologist at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since March 2023. With extensive experience in the field, Jo-Ann has held roles such as Hospitalist/Emergency Room Attending at Massachusetts Eye and Ear since June 2017 and Associate Ophthalmologist at Tufts Medicine from January 2015 to April 2024. Additional experience includes previous positions at Reliant Medical Group, MetroWest Eye Group, and Boston Medical Center. Jo-Ann's educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Medical College of Pennsylvania, an Executive Master of Healthcare Leadership from Brown University, and an MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, among numerous other certifications from prestigious institutions such as Harvard and Columbia.
