Roman J. Roman, PE, CxA, currently serves as a Subject Matter Expert at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since March 2024. Prior to this role, Roman held the position of Senior Project Manager at Pond & Company from December 2023 to March 2024 and was a Senior Associate at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson from January 2022 to December 2023. Previous experience includes serving as Commissioning Manager for Energy Solutions at Jacobs from May 2018 to January 2022, and as Senior Associate at Syska Hennessy Group from August 2017 to April 2018. Roman also functioned as the Director of Mechanical Services at NIKA Solutions in 2017, Senior Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer at E.K Fox and Associates Ltd from July 2011 to December 2016, and Senior Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager at RS&H from January 2006 to August 2011. Early career experience includes working as Mission Engineer for USAID in Nicaragua between June 2001 and February 2004, and Project Mechanical Engineer at Burns & McDonnell from January 1994 to May 1999. Roman holds a Master of Science in Thermal & Fluid Sciences from the University of Florida, earned between 1990 and 1993.
