Ronald Rutherford

Ronald Rutherford is a highly experienced health professional with a robust background in military and veteran health care. Currently serving as the Whole Health Outreach Program Lead at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since November 2011, Ronald engages with Veteran Service Organizations and community partners nationwide. Previously, as a Health Systems Specialist, Ronald contributed to the VHA Region 4 Field Based Implementation Team, focusing on Patient Centered Care and Whole Health initiatives. Ronald's career also includes a role as a Medical Service Officer with the Military Sealift Command and extensive service with the U.S. Navy, where responsibilities included managing administrative programs for shipboard medical departments and serving as an Independent Duty Hospital Corpsman. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a concentration in Clinical Health Science from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and a Master of Science in Health Care Management from Trident University International.
