Brent Suski has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Brent began their career in 2010 as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota College of Design. Brent continued to work in education, serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Dunwoody College of Technology in 2013. In 2011, Brent gained practical experience as an Intern Urban Designer at SODADE. Brent then returned to the University of Minnesota College of Design as a Teaching Assistant for urban form and theory courses. In 2012, Brent joined Rebuilding Together Twin Cities, starting as an AmeriCorps Project Coordinator and eventually becoming the Development Officer. Brent focused on creating safe and healthy housing for low-income homeowners. Currently, Brent holds two roles at the U.S. Green Building Council: Project Manager since 2016 and Associate Director of Market Transformation & Development since March 2021.
Brent Suski holds a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree in Architecture and Urban Design from the University of Minnesota, which they obtained from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Fine and Studio Arts and Environmental Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Brent also holds certifications such as Arc Performance Pro from Arc Skoru, LLC, obtained in 2021, and LEED Green Associate and TRUE Advisor certifications from Green Business Certification, Inc., obtained in 2018.
