Phillip Nelsen

Phillip Nelsen serves as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Partnerships and Corporate Counsel at U.S. LawShield® since January 2022. Nelsen has been an Associate Professor (Tenured) at Salt Lake Community College since July 2015, focusing on business law and entrepreneurship. Additionally, Nelsen has operated as an Attorney at Nelsen Law Offices, P.C. since July 2012. Previously, Nelsen co-founded and served as Chief Operating and Legal Officer at Legal Heat from May 2008 until April 2023, where responsibilities included business administration and strategic development. Nelsen also held the position of City Prosecutor in Clarkston, WA from May 2011 to May 2012 and worked as a Personal Banker/Loan Officer at Wells Fargo Bank from January 2006 to July 2008. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Idaho College of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Weber State University.
