Cole Claybourn

Cole Claybourn is an experienced education reporter at U.S. News & World Report since July 2022, focusing on K-12 and higher education, particularly the transition from high school to college and graduate school. Prior to this role, Cole served as a producer for the Sports Spectrum Podcast Network, overseeing multiple podcasts, and also worked as an English teacher at Warren East High School. Additional experience includes roles in digital marketing, journalism, and sports reporting at various publications. Cole holds a Bachelor of Arts in News/Editorial Journalism from Western Kentucky University and a certificate in Transition to Teaching from American College of Education.
