Michael Sloma has over 19 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Michael started their career as the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Apollo Healthcare, where they were responsible for all aspects of dialysis operations, business development, and finance. Michael then joined Fresenius Medical Care North America, where they held various roles including Regional Vice President of Operations, Group Vice-President of Strategic Development, and Vice President of Strategic Operations Initiatives. Currently, they are working at U.S. Renal Care as the Senior Vice President of Business Development. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated expertise in operations, hospital services, and strategic development.
Michael Sloma earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Niagara County Community College in 1987. Michael then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Commerce with a focus on Business Administration and Management from Niagara University in 1989. In 1993, Michael completed their education by earning a Master of Science (M.S) degree in Health Services Administration from D'Youville University. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator from the New York State.
