Shaukat Rashid M.D.

Shaukat Rashid MD, FASN, EMBA has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. In 2005, they became the President of LAKE ERIE NEPHROLOGY AND HYPERTENSION ASSOCIATES, a position they held until the present. In 2006, they joined U.S. Renal Care as a Medical Director, a role they continue to hold. In 2013, they became a Medical Director at DaVita Kidney Care, a position they held until April 2022. Additionally, from April 2013, they served as a Nephrologist and a Medical Specialist at The Toledo Clinic. In 2018, they also became a Member of the Board of Directors at The Toledo Clinic. Starting from 2019, Shaukat Rashid took on various leadership positions including President at Surgical and Vascular Center at Regency, President at Vascular Center Physicians (VCP), and President at Kairos Properties LLC.

Shaukat Rashid MD, FASN, EMBA has a diverse education history. Shaukat completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of the Punjab between 1984 and 1989, specializing in the field of medicine. In 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Bowling Green State University, focusing on accounting and business/management. In addition to their degrees, Dr. Rashid holds the certifications of ABIM Certified in Nephrology, obtained in December 2011 from the American Board of Internal Medicine, and Certified by ASH, received from the American Society of Hypertension in June 2013.
