Grant Nintzel is a professional engineer and project management professional with extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Grant is currently the Director of Engineering at U.S. Silica Company.
Prior to this, Grant served as the Operations Director at Lhoist, where they led all production and distribution at multiple lime production facilities, mines, and processing terminals. Grant managed a team of 10 direct reports and oversaw a total of 350 employees, both union and non-union. Grant also played a key role in transforming the organization's safety program, achieving a 68% reduction in TRIR.

Grant gained valuable experience during their tenure at Alcoa, where they held multiple positions such as Plant Manager, General Manager, Technical and Maintenance Manager, and Global Project Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for manufacturing operations, supervising teams, implementing operational excellence plans, and achieving significant cost savings through process improvements.
Earlier in their career, Grant worked as a Senior Structural Engineer at qServe and David Evans and Associates, Inc., and as a Structural Engineer at Oldcastle Precast.

Grant Nintzel PE, PMP holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech. Grant also has a Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University.
