Larry Gibson

Larry Gibson, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in research and development roles. Larry is currently the Director of Research and Development at U.S. Silica Company since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Founding Board Member at Eeden Farms Ltd starting from April 2020. From August 2017 to November 2022, they worked as a Technical Manager in New Business Development at Lhoist. Before that, they were a Research and Development Engineer at GCP Applied Technologies from August 2014 to July 2017. Larry also worked in research and development positions at the University of Notre Dame from August 2009 to July 2014, and at The Johns Hopkins University from January 2006 to May 2009. Additionally, they gained experience in process research and development at W. R. Grace & Co. in May 2008.

Larry Gibson, Ph.D. holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. Larry also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they completed an International Baccalaureate program at UWC-USA. In 2018, Larry obtained a certification in Strategic Business Management from the Harvard Extension School.
