Daniel Aguirre has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Daniel began their career in the US Army as a Communications Section Chief, where they supervised maintenance on telecommunications and electronic equipment. After leaving the military, Daniel worked as an Operations Shift Manager for CSA Ltd. In 2008, they transitioned to Contract Callers Inc., taking on the role of Project Manager and demonstrating expertise in executing technical projects. Daniel then joined Sarma as a Technology Manager, where they managed IT projects and the overall information technology strategy. In 2017, they joined the United States Department of Defense as an IT Operations Manager, overseeing IT and cybersecurity activities at the Defense Language Institute English Language Center. In 2019, they became a Program Manager for the European Infrastructure Consolidation program at the United States Air Force, leading initiatives to improve programs and influence policy changes. Currently, Daniel is serving as the Branch Chief for USSPACECOM/J65 at U.S. Space Command, playing a key role in managing C5I doctrine and ensuring integration of space assets into national security objectives. Throughout their career, Daniel has consistently showcased their expertise in IT management, project execution, and strategic planning.
Daniel Aguirre has a strong educational background in the fields of business administration, data analytics, information systems, and business management. Daniel obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Data Analytics from the University of the Incarnate Word, where they studied from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems & Business Management, with a dual major, also from the University of the Incarnate Word, graduating in 2015.
In addition to their formal education, Daniel has also pursued various certifications. Daniel obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in May 2022. Daniel achieved the SAFe 4 Practitioner Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in February 2019. Furthermore, they hold the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA, which they acquired in May 2017.
Furthermore, Daniel is not only well-educated but has also acquired specialized knowledge in military applied sciences. Daniel attended the US Army Signal School from 1999 to 2000, where they completed the Special Electronics Devices Course.
