Tia S.

Tia S. is an accomplished aerospace and defense professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the National Space Defense Center and the United States Space Force. Currently serving as Flight Commander and Section Chief at NSDC since July 2022, Tia previously held the position of Executive Officer to the Commander of Space Delta 2 and served as Crew Commander for the 20th Space Control Squadron in the United States Air Force. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Science in International Relations and National Security Studies from Troy University, complemented by policy research experience with the Africa Faith and Justice Network.
