United States Space Command conducts operations in, from and to space to deter conflict, and, if necessary, defeat aggression, deliver space combat power for the Joint/Combined Force and defend U.S. vital interests with allies and partners.

Commanded by U.S. Army Gen. James H. Dickinson, USSPACECOM is the warfighting combatant command that actively employs forces from the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Space Force to deliver space effects to joint and combined forces and protect and defend the space domain. Space superiority enables the Joint Force to rapidly transition from competition to conflict and prevail in a global, all-domain fight. From the ultimate high ground to the last tactical mile, USSPACECOM ensures there is never a day without space.

The Space Operations and Strategy team at U.S. Space Command is responsible for developing effective space strategies and operational plans to ensure space superiority and readiness for the Joint/Combined Force. This team conducts comprehensive analysis and planning to integrate space capabilities into military operations, facilitates training and education for space operations, and advises on doctrine and policy to enhance the command's effectiveness in deterring aggression and defending U.S. interests in the space domain.
