Nicole Cohen, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in global programs, policy development, and academic instruction. Presently serving as the Manager of Global Programs for the Indo-Pacific Region at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency since December 2020, Nicole previously held the role of Vice President at McGuireWoods Consulting, where responsibilities included crafting government affairs strategies and analyzing legislative proceedings for technology clients. Prior experience includes serving as a Policy Advisor at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, representing diverse entities before U.S. Congress, and as Executive Speechwriter at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea. An academic background features positions as Postdoctoral Fellow at both Columbia University and Yale University, and Associate Faculty at New York University, focused on East Asian Studies.
