Office of the U.S. Trade Representative
William A. Miller serves as an Attaché at the Permanent Mission of the United States to the World Trade Organization since December 2022, following a tenure as Director for Industrial Trade Policy at the U.S. Department of Commerce from July 2016 to December 2022. During this time, William led initiatives in the International Trade Administration, focusing on enforcement and compliance, where responsibilities included leading anti-dumping investigations and analyzing foreign manufacturing practices. Previous experience includes consulting for Haddad Media, interning with the United Nations Development Programme and the Inter-American Development Bank, and serving as a Financial Analyst for FINRA. William holds a Master’s degree in International Economics and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University, a B.A. in Economics from Morehouse College, and is currently pursuing an Executive Certificate in Global Leadership from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
