Dale Gibson is the current CFO at U.S. Translation. Prior to this, they were the Accounting Manager at Franklin Templeton Investments from January 2013 to December 2019. There, they were responsible for managing the closing and financial reporting for five business units with annual sales ranging from $50 million to $800 million per unit. Dale also prepared financial statements and performed analysis on business fluctuations, ensuring that Sarbanes Oxley controls were met and followed. In addition, Dale oversaw cash, capital spending, and proper treatment of fixed assets. Dale provided analytical reports for management, responded to audit inquiries, and ensured that staff recorded accurate entries and prepared detailed reconciliations as well as developing skills. Dale supervised and developed a staff of five located in Salt Lake City and India.
Before their time at Franklin Templeton Investments, Dale was the Corp. Controller at Merit Medical Systems, Inc. from January 2006 to December 2012. And before that, they were the Asst. Controller at Sonic Innovations from January 1998 to December 2006.
Dale Gibson holds a BS in finance from Brigham Young University and an MBA with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business.
