Ting Liu is a Technical Specialist at U.S. Wheat Associates since September 2016, with a background in food science that includes a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. Prior roles include Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota, where responsibilities involved organizing laboratory courses and conducting research on whole grain consumption and tortilla quality. Ting Liu has also served as a Visiting Scholar at the Wheat Marketing Center, where projects focused on milling flour, evaluating leavening effects, and developing new chemical systems for whole-wheat tortillas. Additional experience includes a summer internship at the Grains for Health Foundation, examining whole grain usage in Chinese restaurants. Ting Liu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Engineering from Zhejiang Gongshang University.
