Seth Edwards

Seth Edwards is a graduate teaching assistant at Western University, where responsibilities include evaluating student performance and collaborating on lab activity design. As a Geographic Information Systems Analyst at the Human Environments Analysis Laboratory, Seth merged datasets and utilized geocoding techniques for public health analysis. Experience as a research assistant involved analyzing park use and safety in London, Ontario. Seth also served as a Junior Planning Analyst for the Thames Valley District School Board, conducting qualitative interviews and generating GIS illustrations for school accommodation planning. As a leader in the Mustangs Athlete Student Council, Seth initiated programs focused on sports mentorship and women's empowerment. Athletic achievements include being a 2024 Canadian University National Bronze Medalist and multiple academic honors. Seth is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Geography and Environment at Western University.
