Valerie Figueroa

Valerie Figueroa is currently a Student Doctor at Saint Anthony Hospital, with experience in various medical fields including Psychiatry, OBGYN, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Family Medicine. Valerie is also the President of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) and a NASA UAG Representative at UAG School of Medicine. Valerie previously worked as a Quality Control Analyst II at Dendreon, a Volunteer Spanish Medical Interpreter at Lahai Health, and as a Microbiologist I at the Washington State Department of Health. Valerie holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, a Master of Arts in Medical Clinical Sciences from Heritage University, and a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from UPRH.
