Diego Solveira

Diego Solveira is the current Head of People at Ualá. Prior to this, they served as HR Manager at Proguide Management Consulting from February 2012 to September 2018. There, they were in charge of the management of the whole HR functions of all branches of the company, with direct report to the General Manager. Diego led a team of both direct reports, outsorced contractors and providers in Argentina and the rest of the countries.

Solveira started the HR area, first for Argentina, and then to the rest of the countries, since in these past two years Proguide added offices in México, Costa Rica and Brazil. With the geographical growth of the company, HR needed to expand the capabilities to support the new offices both for recruiting and HR administration, in different languages and mostly from our headquarter offices in Buenos Aires.

The main focus of their first two years were: creation of salary structures; internal communication; and process standardisation for recruiting, performance evaluation, career development and hr administration.

Before Proguide, Solveira served as Applications Service Manager for Nextel Chile from December 2000 to August 2011.

Diego Solveira works with Damián Alejandro Camarasa - Head of Engineering, Marko Maslucan Huaita - Head of Business Development, and Maia Eliscovich - Head of New Business Unit. Diego Solveira reports to Pierpaolo Barbieri, Founder & CEO.
