Angelo Azar

Angelo Azar currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Ubank since October 2025, while also contributing as a member of the Industry Advisory Board at Matchboard since September 2022. Prior to these roles, Angelo held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Honey Insurance from February 2021 to September 2025 and served as Head of Operations at The Hollard Insurance Company Australia from January 2017 to January 2021. Angelo's extensive career includes significant positions in operations and sales management across multiple financial and insurance institutions, including the Commonwealth Bank and BOC. Angelo's educational background features an MBA in Strategic Management & Leadership from Macquarie Graduate School of Management and various leadership programs from institutions such as AGSM @ UNSW and London Business School.
