John Riley

John Riley, SHRM-CP, has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. John currently holds the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at UBank, where they are responsible for developing and executing human resource strategies to support the organization's overall business plan. Prior to this role, they served as the Human Resources Director at UBank.

Before joining UBank, John was the Owner of Riley Garcia Enterprises LLC, where they oversaw the operations of the company. John also worked as a Human Resources Manager at Sodexo, handling various HR functions for multiple client accounts.

Earlier in their career, John served as the Site Manager at Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas, where they managed the operations of the Angelina County Workforce Center and led a team of staff members. John also worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Etech Global Services, where they managed the day-to-day HR operations and carried out responsibilities in various HR functional areas.

In addition, John has experience as a Project Manager and an Account Manager at Etech Global Services, where they successfully planned, executed, and delivered projects within deadlines. Prior to their role at Etech Global Services, they worked as a Training Manager at Etech, Inc., where they planned and directed training activities for new employees and helped improve job skills of existing employees.

John Riley, SHRM-CP, holds a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Education from Stephen F. Austin State University, which they completed in 2005. Prior to that, they attended Oak Grove High School from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a High School diploma with a specialization in General Studies.

In addition to their formal education, John has obtained various certifications. John earned the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation from SHRM in December 2020. John also holds certifications in Strategic Human Resources from LinkedIn, Lean Six Sigma Certification from The Council for Six Sigma Certification, and CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ from CompTIA, which were obtained in 2022, 2020, and 2021, respectively. Furthermore, John received the LMCI certification from the Texas Workforce Commission in April 2013. It should be noted that John's certification in OSHA 10 from the US DEPARTMENT OF LABOR OSHA did not provide specific information regarding the month and year of completion.
