UBC Faculty of Forestry
Kathleen Coupland is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in forestry and environmental management. Currently serving as a Research Associate and Coordinator for the Professional Masters Programs at The University of British Columbia's Faculty of Forestry, Kathleen has also held roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher and contributed as a Lecturer and Coordinator for the Master of Geomatics for Environmental Management. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Forestry, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Sustainable Forest Management and Environmental Science respectively, Kathleen's expertise is further complemented by practical experience as a Forest Technician at Integrated ProAction Corp. and as a Teaching Assistant in the Earth and Ocean Science Department at UBC. Kathleen's diverse background also includes early work as a cashier, highlighting strong customer relations and management skills.
