Brittany Dennis

Assistant Professor at UBC CPD

Brittany Dennis currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Social Medicine at The University of British Columbia since December 2023. Additionally, Brittany holds a part-time position as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at McMaster University, starting from September 2012. Brittany's experience includes participation in the Research in Addiction Medicine Scholars Program at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) since September 2022, and a Clinical Fellowship at the British Columbia Centre on Substance Use from July 2022 to September 2023. Previously, Brittany worked as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at Stanford University from July 2018 to July 2020, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton from January 2015 to 2017. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of London, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics from McMaster University, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies from McMaster University.
