Athanasios Ghavelas

Athanasios Ghavelas is an accomplished Paralympic champion and world record holder in the 100m T11 category, with a personal best of 10.82 seconds. Athanasios has been a dedicated athlete in various events including the 100m, 200m, and long jump since 2016 and is currently focused on representing Toyota Team Hellas with aspirations for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. In addition to athletic pursuits, Athanasios serves as an ambassador for multiple brands, including Uber, adidas, Alpha Bank, and Delta Foods, contributing to promotional activities and awareness campaigns. Athanasios completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon in March 2023.
