Azarias Reda

Azarias Reda, PhD, is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Uber since November 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing the Grocery Fulfillment organization and enhancing the delivery experience for grocery orders. Prior to this role, Azarias founded FreshCar, a startup focused on enterprise software for car subscriptions, and held key positions such as Chief Technology Officer at the Republican National Committee, where efforts were centered on building a robust election data platform. Additional experiences include co-founding Meritful, contributing to LinkedIn’s data science projects, and conducting research at Microsoft. Azarias holds a B.A. in Computer Science, Business Administration, and Mathematics from the University of Michigan.
