Payam Tabrizian, PhD, is currently the Head of Product Design for Autonomous Mobility & Delivery and Maps at Uber and a lecturer at Stanford University, where they founded the course on Design for Extended Realities. Previously, Payam has held various notable positions, including Senior Design Manager at Unity and Lead UX Designer at the NC State Center for Geospatial Analytics. With a strong foundation in design technology and geospatial analytics, Payam has contributed to several award-winning projects, including the Bazeh River-scape national park master plan. They have earned multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD in Design Technology and another in Geospatial Analytics from North Carolina State University.
