Vasilis Hadjiaslanis

Vasilis Hadjiaslanis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience at Uber, currently serving as the Head of New Verticals for the Middle East & Africa since August 2017. Vasilis has held various leadership roles, including General Manager for the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Lebanon, focusing on ridesharing business management and growth strategies. Vasilis has also been involved in launching and scaling premium ridesharing products across multiple regions, contributing to product P&L management and marketing efforts. Prior to Uber, Vasilis worked as a Management Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, where notable projects included the digital labor market transformation and enhancing public sector productivity in the GCC. Vasilis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Chicago, a Master of Science in Business Administration from UCL, and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School, as well as accredited coursework in Psychology at Yale University.
