Yumiko Kajiwara

Yumiko Kajiwara serves as the Head of Risk and Compliance Operations at Uber since April 2022, bringing extensive experience in safety and compliance from previous roles, including Safety & Compliance Lead for Customer Operations at foodpanda from October 2021 to April 2022. Prior to that, Yumiko held the position of Director of Ethics & Compliance and Corporate Strategy at Seiyu G.K., a subsidiary of Walmart in Japan, from February 2014 to September 2021. An alumna of Sophia University, Yumiko Kajiwara earned a degree in Foreign Language Studies with a focus on Russian.
