Steven Cam On

Steven Cam On has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Steven Cam is currently working as a Senior Quality Engineer at Uberflip since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at TD for several years in various positions. Steven Cam held the role of Quality Engineer Test Lead from June 2021 to March 2022, where they led two pods in functional testing and test automation. Steven Cam also worked as a QA Analyst III from October 2018 to September 2021 and as a QA Analyst from October 2016 to September 2021.

Before joining TD, Steven worked as an IT Consultant - Java Developer at FDM Group for a few months in 2016. Steven Cam also gained experience as an Assembly Line Worker at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) in 2015 and as an Apprentice at Fluid rock in 2014.

Steven's career in quality assurance started at Ace Services Group Inc, where they worked as a QA Team Leader for a few months in 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Quality Assurance Inspector at the same company in 2011.

Throughout their career, Steven has gained experience in various tools and technologies such as BDD, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, and Git. Steven Cam is also proficient in automation and manual testing, with expertise in RestAssured, Page Object Model, SOATest, UI Automation, and API Automation.

Steven Cam On completed their high school education from St. Basil the Great College from 2009 to 2012, earning a High School Diploma. Steven Cam then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering at Carleton University from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in May 2021 and in ISTQB - ISEB - Certified Tester Foundation Level from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in September 2016.
