Tyler Lucas Barr

Tyler Lucas Barr has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Tyler Lucas is currently working as a Technical Writer (Product) at Uberflip since 2022. Prior to this, Tyler worked at Later from 2019 to 2021, where they held multiple roles including Technical Writer and Customer Happiness Specialist. Their responsibilities at Later included managing the Later Help Center, creating and maintaining user-facing technical documentation, collecting and interpreting data, and working closely with product teams. Tyler Lucas also played a key role in writing and training the Later chatbot. Before Later, Tyler worked as a Customer Care Associate at Article in 2018 and as a Customer Success Manager at and chill Property Management from January to July 2018. In 2016, they worked as a Stockroom Coordinator at EQ3, and from 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Carpenter/Project Manager at Urban Insite. Tyler also has experience as a driver at EZJUNK.ca in 2014, as a Retail Sales Associate/Shoe Fit Expert at Aerobics First in 2012, and as a Tourism Information Counsellor/Assistant Manager at Sissiboo Landing Tourism Information Centre in 2010. Overall, Tyler brings a wide range of skills and expertise to their current role as a Technical Writer.

Tyler Lucas Barr completed their education at Vancouver Community College (VCC) from 2019 to 2020, where they obtained a Certificate in Business and Technical Writing. Prior to that, they attended St. Mary's Bay Academy and earned a High School Diploma. Apart from their formal education, Tyler also obtained additional certifications. In February 2021, they completed the "Intro to Data Analytics" program at Lighthouse Labs. In October 2020, they acquired the "Chatbot Writing & Design" certification from UX Writers Collective. Additionally, in April 2020, they completed the "Intro to Web Development" program at Lighthouse Labs.
