Yves Ngounou Ngambo

Yves Ngounou Ngambo has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Yves is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Ubicquia, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Ubicquia from May 2020 to February 2021.

Before joining Ubicquia, Yves worked at Current, powered by GE, where they held various roles. From January 2018 to May 2020, they were the Senior Manager of Software Engineering, focusing on intelligent cities. Yves also served as the Software Development Manager for Intelligent Cities from January 2017 to January 2018. Before that, they worked as a Design Manager for Platforms at Current, Powered by GE from January 2014 to December 2016.

Yves' previous experience includes working at Alstom Transport as a Product Architect, where they contributed to the development of integrated security management systems and digital public address systems for the Montreal Metro project. Yves was also a Design Authority for Systems & Products during their tenure at Alstom Transport.

Additionally, Yves has held positions at Averna as a Systems Designer, at SR Telecom as a Manager of Embedded Software and a Team Leader/Senior Software Designer, at MOTOROLA as a Technical Staff Member, at Netvention as a JAVA Programmer, and at Siemens/ULB as a Research Engineer. Yves began their career as an Electronics Engineer at Université Libre de Bruxelles.

Throughout their career, Yves has demonstrated expertise in software engineering, product architecture, design, and development, with a focus on intelligent control platforms, IP-based systems, and wireless broadband access products. Yves has also been involved in research and development projects, and holds co-inventorship in two patents.

Yves Ngounou Ngambo obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Université libre de Bruxelles from 1990 to 1995. Yves also holds a certification as an OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional - Model User from OMG, obtained in 2013.
