Matthew Scarth-Saunders

Matthew Scarth-Saunders is a software engineer currently employed at UBIO since July 2024, with prior experience at Northcoders from October 2022 to July 2024. At Northcoders, Matthew provided software solutions for external clients and was involved in various internal development projects, specializing in Frontend/UI development using React and Vue, Cloud infrastructure with AWS and Azure, and Data Engineering with Python. Additionally, a cross-platform video conferencing mobile app utilizing React Native and Kotlin was developed. Matthew began a career in technology as a technical assistant at Wildtalk Ltd from October 2012 to October 2022, engaging in projects across diverse sectors, including security and agriculture. Educationally, Matthew earned a BA in Music, Technology, and Innovation from De Montfort University (2009 - 2012) and attended Queen Elizabeth School in Kirkby Lonsdale and the British School in Muscat earlier.
