Eric van der Maten

Eric van der Maten has over 30 years of work experience. In 1989, they began their career as a Freelance IT Consultant for ISC Facilities, managing software implementation projects with and for software companies like IBM/Tivoli, Microsoft, BMC, Peregrine, CA, etc. In 1995, they co-founded Mainland Sequoia Group, which was later acquired by Devoteam. In 2011, they became a Managing Partner at Intermediar Software Consultants. In 2015, they became an Advisor for Iristrace, a no-code software as a service platform. In 2017, they became a Biz Dev. for Lean Startup Co., and in 2018, they became a Co-Founder and Managing Partner/Co-Founder at Arches Capital. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Corporate Development, Tech & Partner Alliances for UbiOps, a ModelOps platform that enables data analytics teams to run, manage, and scale AI and machine learning workloads on both GPUs and CPUs.

Eric van der Maten attended De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1986 to 1988, where they studied Information Technology without receiving a degree.
