Benas Rimsa

Benas Rimsa has over 15 years of work experience in the field of engineering and quality assurance. Benas currently works as a Senior QA Engineer at Ubiquiti Inc. since March 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at CUJO AI from March 2021 to March 2022, where they previously served as a QA Engineer from February 2018 to March 2021.

Before their roles in quality assurance, Benas worked as a Senior Network Engineer - Administrator at INIT from January 2013 to February 2018. In this role, they were responsible for monitoring networks, installing and maintaining network hardware and software, and configuring switches, routers, and antennas.

Prior to INIT, Benas served as an Engineer and Team Leader at Eltel Networks from August 2011 to January 2013. Benas worked on the "Mobile Norway" project, where their responsibilities included mounting and demounting GSM and UMTS base stations and antennas.

Benas began their career at INIT as a Telecommunications Engineer from July 2009 to August 2011. In this role, they worked with cable TV and internet services, connecting services to customers' homes, and troubleshooting TV and internet issues.

Benas also briefly worked at INIT as a Technician in July 2008, where they connected cable TV and internet services to new customers' homes.

Benas Rimsa has a diverse background in engineering and quality assurance, with extensive experience in network administration, telecommunications, and project management.

Benas Rimsa has a diverse education history. Benas first attended Kaunas Eiguliai High School in Kaunas from 1993 to 2005, where they completed their secondary education. After that, they enrolled at Kaunas University of Technology and earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies of Telecommunications from 2005 to 2009. Benas continued their education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree diploma with honors in Telecommunications Systems from 2009 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Benas has obtained several certifications. In 2012, they received the GSM/UMTS Huawei Swap certification from Huawei Technologies Deutshland GmbH. In 2017, they completed the Developer Course for Beginners, which covered programming languages such as C#, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL, at Kaunas Coding School. Benas also attended an intensive 3-month PHP-Symfony 3 course at NFQ in the same year. Recently, in 2021, they completed the AWS Cloud Technical Essentials certification through Coursera.
