Jakub Marek

Jakub Marek has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Jakub began their career at the Library of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in 2004 as an IT Specialist. In 2005, they worked for Creditreform as an IT Administrator & Developer. That same year, Jakub also worked for L-FOTO as a Software Engineer - extern. In 2007, Jakub joined CertiCon a.s. as a SW Engineer Sr., where they worked until 2014.

Starting in 2015, Jakub began their tenure at Slevomat, where they held multiple roles. Jakub was an iOS Developer from February 2015 to January 2016. From February 2016 to December 2016, Jakub served as an iOS Software Engineer Sr. Jakub then took on the role of Mobile Development Technical Lead & iOS Software Engineer Sr. from January 2017 to October 2018.

Most recently, Jakub joined Ubiquiti Networks in October 2018 as an iOS Developer, where they continue to work presently.

Jakub Marek began their education in 1989 at ZS Sochanova, where they completed their primary education and obtained no specific degree or field of study. Jakub continued their studies at the Czech Technical University in Prague from 2002 to 2007, majoring in Computer Science at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. During the same period, from 2002 to 2003, they also attended Charles University's Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, focusing on Computer Science. At the Czech Technical University, they successfully earned a Master's degree in Computer Science.
