Jaroslav Klíma

Jaroslav Klíma has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Jaroslav started their career in 2006 as a Developer at Empire, s.r.o., where they primarily worked on .NET development using ASP.NET and WinForms. In 2007, they moved to GRADUAL SYSTEMS as a Developer for a year, gaining further experience in software development.

In 2008, Jaroslav joined Commerzbank as a Software Specialist, focusing on .NET web client development using ASP.NET, Silverlight, MVVM, and Prism. Jaroslav worked in this role for four years until 2012.

Jaroslav then joined Barclays as a POINT UI Developer in 2012, where they worked for four years until 2016. During their time at Barclays, they gained expertise in UI development.

Jaroslav'smost recent experience is as a Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead at Ubiquiti Networks since 2016. In this role, they have been involved in SaaS platform development and support, utilizing various technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, DigitalOcean, Kubernetes, Docker, Python, MySQL, Jenkins, InfluxDB, DataDog, Grafana, Stackdriver, CloudWatch, PagerDuty, Recurly, and Bash. Jaroslav has also worked on full stack web development and CI using technologies like HTML/CSS, Node.js, React, Redux, Angular.js, AWS, Docker, Jenkins, and test automation.

Jaroslav Klíma started their education in 1993 at Gymnázium Jura Hronca in Bratislava. Jaroslav attended this school until the year 2000. Following this, from 2000 to 2001, they enrolled at Lynn Classical High School in Massachusetts, USA, where they completed their high school education. From 2001 to 2003, Jaroslav pursued the International Baccalaureate program. Finally, from 2003 to 2008, they attended Charles University, majoring in Computer Science.
