Martin Petrák

Martin Petrák has a diverse work experience spanning multiple fields. Martin started in 2007 as a ski instructor at various ski schools before transitioning to a role as a network administrator and technical support at TaNET West from 2007 to 2010. In 2009, they became the lead instructor and ski school manager at Lyžeřská škola Mariánské Lázně / Skischule Marienbad, a position they held until 2012. In 2010, they briefly worked as a ski instructor at Snowsportschool Pec pod Sněžkou. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a quality engineer at Kerio Technologies. In 2012, they had a short-term role as a ski instructor at Skischule Neustift Olympia. In 2015, they joined Samepage as a QA automation engineer and was later promoted to senior QA automation engineer. Most recently, they became a software engineer at Ubiquiti Inc. in 2017.

Martin Petrák obtained a Master's degree in Information Technology specializing in distributed systems and computer networks from the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen. This educational journey took place from 2007 to 2013. Prior to this, Martin attended the Secondary School of Electrical Engineering, where they focused on information technology with a specialization in computer networks. In addition to their formal education, Martin also obtained certifications in snowsports education, including APUL B in December 2010 and APUL C in January 2008, from the APUL Snowsports Education institution.
