Matiss Silickis

Matiss Silickis has a strong background in software engineering and computer systems. Matiss started their career in 2006 at EDS Serviss, SIA as a Computer Systems Technician. In 2011, they joined Point Transaction Systems, SIA as a Software Developer. Matiss then moved on to Equinox Payments in 2013, where they worked as a Software Engineer. In 2016, Matiss joined Ubiquiti Inc. as an Embedded Software Engineer, specializing in C/C++ development. Matiss later took on the role of Lead Software Engineer.

Matiss Silickis began their education at Riga Technical College from 2005 to 2009, earning a Secondary Vocational Education degree with a focus on Computer systems. Following this, they attended Latvia University of Agriculture from 2009 to 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Control and Computer Science. Continuing their education at the same institution, Silickis completed a Master's Degree in Information Technologies from 2013 to 2015.
