Neil Wei

Neil Wei's work experience starts in 2009 at Trend Micro, where they worked as a Software Developer In Test, responsible for designing test plans and developing automated testing frameworks. Neil then became a Senior Software Engineer in Test Lead, where they designed and developed data flow control, RESTful Web Service API, and database schema, and leveraged Hadoop for big data analysis. Neil also adopted virtualization technology for high availability and scalability. Neil worked as a Senior Back-end/DevOps Developer at Trend Micro, where they were responsible for cloud service infrastructure design and migration to AWS. Neil then moved to KKStream Limited as a Senior Back-end Developer and DevOps Lead, advocating for Infra-as-code and building reusable AWS templates. Neil then joined Verizon Media as a Senior Back-end Developer. Currently, Neil works at Ubiquiti Inc. as a Staff Software Developer (Back-end/DevOps), where they develop and operates micro-services on AWS ECS, manages AWS environments by Terraform, and maintains alert systems using CloudWatch and Slack integration.

Neil Wei obtained their Master's degree in Information Technology from Yuan-Ze University. Neil pursued this degree from 2006 to 2008.
